Core Values

Please refrain from using horror-like fonts; opt for a block-letter font that is easily readable and exudes a professional appearance.

The client seeks a poster that encapsulates the core narrative of the documentary while engaging viewers. Consider integrating elements such as foil and symbols like a painkiller/blade to convey the message powerfully.

Inspiration: Draw inspiration from posters like “Dopesick,” where the ‘o’ is depicted as a pill, which has piqued interest.

Avoid a clinical appearance; the documentary concludes positively, and the client desires this sentiment to be reflected in the design.

The story is narrated by Esmee, a former oxycodone addict. The client emphasizes the importance of the design reflecting her perspective.

Testimonial

As a filmmaker, you sometimes have the fortune of working with great talent. Sanne van Os is one such talent. As a student at the Grafisch Lyceum Utrecht, Sanne was commissioned by the Bureau to design a poster for my film "Oxy Junky." What sets Sanne apart is her ability to listen attentively. Understanding the client's desires and translating them into visually strong illustrations is her forte. Throughout the entire design process, Sanne has demonstrated the right amount of perseverance and creativity. This has resulted in a beautiful end product, a professional film poster that speaks for itself. The "Oxy Junky" film poster has become a true work of art. I hope to have the opportunity to work with Sanne again in the future.
